The Power of Forgiveness Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 2:00pm at the National Heritage Museum, Lexington, MA Neighbors Who Care is honored to present Immaculee Ilibagiza, a survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Immaculee Ilibagiza and seven other women survived the genocide by hiding for 91 days in a local pastor's house. She found great solace in prayer and emerged from the experience able to forgive her persecutors. She has authored three books, the earnings of which she donates to the "Left to Tell Charitable Fund" which assists Rwandan orphans with educational needs.
